I want to volunteer. How and where do I start?
Great! We are thrilled to hear that you are interested in volunteering with our organization. Please complete the interest request form with your contact information and someone from the Student Intern & Volunteer Department will contact you.

What is the minimum age to volunteer?
We require all volunteers to be at least 18 years of age.

Are there certain skills or training I need to be able to volunteer?
We do not require volunteers to have previous experience with working with children. Volunteers are provided with training opportunities to learn about the population we serve and how to engage with our youth.

What is the time commitment for volunteering?
There is no required time commitment. We ask volunteers that are interested in ongoing volunteer opportunities are consistent and reliable. Our young people will become familiar with you as a volunteer and will look forward to your visits on days you’re assigned.

Will I need to complete a background check?
All volunteers who are interacting with our clients on an ongoing basis will have to complete a background check and additional clearances dependent on volunteer placement.
