Behavioral Health Services
Northern Rivers offers a network of NYS Office of Mental Health-licensed community-based social work and psychiatric services throughout the Capital Region and beyond to support the diverse range of emotional, social, and developmental needs of children, adults, and families. Our skilled and dedicated team of social workers, mental health counselors, and medical professionals provide programs tailored to different mental health needs, serving thousands of people every year through individual, group, and family psychotherapy; psychiatric assessments; medication management; and complex care management.

Behavioral Health Centers
The Behavioral Health Centers are licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) to provide outpatient mental health treatment services to those individuals who need help managing emotional and behavioral challenges. Individuals who are age 64 or younger and who are experiencing social, emotional, family, or mental health related challenges are eligible for services. We help prevent unnecessary hospitalization and emergency room visits by stabilizing the crisis in the most normalized, least restrictive setting.
